Michele graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and in 2006 with a Master of Science in Nursing both from Valparaiso University. Prior to joining CarePointe in 2006 as a Nurse Practitioner, Michele worked as an operating room nurse. In addition to her special interest in Otolaryngology she has an interest in allergy care and has expanded CarePointe’s scope of services as we are now able to offer our patients in-office allergy testing and treatment. Michele’s responsibilities also include supporting the CarePointe physicians with pre-operative history and physical exams, post-operative visits, acute sick patient visits, and assisting in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in our practice. Michele is a member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Society of Nurses in Advance Practice, and the American Academy of Otolaryngology and Allergy. She is Board Certified by the American Nursing Credentialing Center and has certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
